Affirmation: I am holding onto faith, not fear

Gather 'round ya'll, it’s story time...

For Memorial Day weekend, my family of 6 traveled to Tybee Island Beach for an extended trip away. That meant we had a lot to pack in our minivan.

My mom, who is almost 80, gets around pretty well but does need a wheelchair for farther distances. Tybee has longer boardwalks which we knew could be a challenge. We considered bringing her wheelchair, but just did not have room for it.

Josh & I had to make a decision...

We decided to leave the wheelchair and lean on faith. We have a core belief that everything we need is always available in the moment that we need it. Not the moment before or after, but in the exact moment of need.

Twas the night before the beach, and we still had no wheelchair. Josh and I held positive thoughts about a chair in mind since the next day we would need to get Mamita all the way to the sand, or one of us would have to stay behind with her since she has advanced Alzheimer’s.

We paused, set the intention, and opened our minds to unknown possibilities; we trusted things would work out.

Early the next morning, I dropped Josh and our boys at the beach so they could get extra play time. On the way back from picking them up, I saw something… next to the neighbor’s mailbox… there it was, a wheelchair! Sitting there waiting for us...🤯

I pointed it out to Josh and he excitedly told me to stop the van so he could jump out. He knocked on the door to confirm the chair was up for grabs. The neighbor was so touched by our story, she also gave us a beach chair that she was sure my mom would need.

And she was right, we did need it. Not only did we have exactly what we needed when we actually needed it, we got even more. Thank goodness we stayed open and trusted.

God’s Will is always greater and better than our plans when we trust in faith 💯💥

We chose to let go of fear and held on to faith instead. Even though finding a wheelchair seemed like a tall order, it found us, and it was right on time.

You may have your own “tall orders” happening in your life, so I share this miraculous story to remind you to stay open to possibilities and believe.

Mamita was thrilled to have both chairs and we were happy to all be together. We had a great time at the beach, and even wheeled around downtown Savannah. And if you’re wondering what happened to the chairs, our friend has them ready for our next visit.

Can I get an Amen?! Amen

Love and blessings,

Jules
